However, Inauguration Day also saw the arrival of a new fashion icon, Vice President Kamala Harris’s step daughter Ella Emhoff, who wore a bedazzled Miu Miu coat to watch her “Momala” sworn-in.
For the ceremony, the 22-year-old, a textile design student at Parsons in New York City, paired the embellished plaid coat with an oversized white statement collar and a burgundy dress by New York designer Batsheva.
The vice president’s stepdaughter completed the look with a pair of black leather gloves, black boots and a black mask.
