Victoria Beckham selling clothes out of van for her high-end fashion brand

Victoria Beckham is now offering her customers a way to try on her expensive designs in the comfort of their own home.

The singer turned fashion designer, 47, has made sure fans of her brand can always access her clothing designs – if they live in the capital – by unveiling a new concierge service.

Shoppers who wish to experience the home try-on and style session, which will see an employee drive to the customers home to allow them to try on the wares – with no obligation to purchase, can pay up £15 for the privilege.

The VB brand employee will also be on hand to offer fashion and styling advice to anyone looking to fork out thousands for a coat or dress.

Proving that Victoria is keen for her brand to be seen as environmentally conscious, the company promise to plant a tree for every journey made by the mobile shop.

The news of the new service was shared on her website.

A statement read: “Created with ease and comfort in mind, you can now try the latest Victoria Beckham pieces at home, before you purchase.

“The service brings the in-store shopping experience to you.

“Order multiple sizes, styles or take the opportunity to try something a little out of your comfort zone. We’ll then return the pieces you don’t want, and swiftly complete the payment for the pieces you do, all from the comfort of your own home.

“Simply select the pieces you want to try and they’ll be delivered to via the Concierge Style team in a dedicated van. The service is carbon neutral too and for every appointment booked a tree is planted.”

Detailing what consumers who buy into the home experience can expect, it continued: “On the day of your appointment, your pieces will arrive with a Style Concierge, via a dedicated van. Each piece will be steamed, hung in a garment bag and transported on a rail.

“Your Style Concierge can be on-hand for advice and alterations or wait outside for you to try the pieces at your leisure.

“Pay for the pieces you’d like to purchase via card reader or a private SMS link and simply hand back any pieces you don’t want to your Style Concierge, who will return them for you.”

In January it was reported that the figures revealed that Victoria’s fashion house has totted up near-£60million losses over the past seven years.

Victoria Beckham Holdings Limited, which owns her fashion business, did report a £2.5million rise in sales to £38.3m in 2019.

But it still made a loss – much of it down to costs involved in launching Victoria Beckham Beauty.

Annual pre-tax losses for 2019 hit £16.6m, up £4m on 2018. As far back as 2013, VBHL had a £3.4m operating loss. In 2014, it was £3.8m, by 2015 it hit £4.4m and a year later it was £8.2m.

And by 2017, it ran at a £10.2m loss – despite a number of cash injections to keep it afloat.
