Who?
Abbey England are a British family owned brand founded in 1982 as Abbey Saddlery. Working closely with British manufacturers, Abbey England meets the need for traditional tools and equipment such as knives, races, awls, needles, hole punchers, trimming implements and much more.
What?
Abbey England provide a range of goods including leather craft supplies, workshop tools and materials, equestrian equipment and accessories, brass home furnishings and more. The equestrian product range includes harness fittings, saddle and bridle manufacture and many accessories. A wide range of leather materials, textiles, webbing and dyes are available as well as workshop materials including tools, threads, dyes and glues. Abbey England also stock a range of brass home furnishings from door knockers to brass sundials.
Abbey England also offer a bespoke service of quality commemorative plaques and coasters. Commemorative plaques can be created for a range of events from sports events to car shows. Bespoke coasters can also be made in gold (brass) or silver (nickel plated) finishes. Bespoke designs will be checked by Abbey England’s expert manufacturers before creating a sample, once the sample is approved, production will commence. Lead time for bespoke items is usually 6 – 12 weeks. Bespoke hardware is also available, specialising in small casting Abbey England provides castings for a wide range of industries creating bespoke items for belts, handbags, cars, yachts and more.
Where?
Based in Knutsford in Cheshire, Abbey England delivers their goods all over the UK and worldwide. Delivery is available to Africa, Asia, Australasia, Europe, North and South America, The Middle East and Russia (restrictions may apply). From 30th June 2021 orders being dispatched to the EU must reach the minimum order value of £131 (€151). EU customers are encouraged to consolidate smaller orders in order to meet the minimum order value. The change in policy is to ensure the correct VAT/Tax/Duty is calculated on delivery to the order destination.
When?
Abbey England aims to dispatch orders within 72 hours (Monday – Friday) for orders in the UK. Deliveries made outside the UK will have a longer lead time, with cost of delivery calculated by size and weight of the parcel.
